Wait Room Games (“the App”) is an offline puzzle collection for iPhone. This page explains what data the App processes and why. We do not operate our own gameplay servers, and the App does not require an account.
Summary
- No sign-in. Daily streak and puzzle progress stay on your device.
- Free play may show ads from Google AdMob.
- Premium subscriptions are billed by Apple. We never see your card or Apple ID password.
- Where required, we show a consent form and Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt before personalized ads.
Data stored on your device
The App uses on-device storage (UserDefaults) for:
- Whether today’s Daily puzzles are finished
- Streak count
- Whether a Premium subscription is active
This data is not synced to our servers. Removing the App deletes it.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
If you use the free version, the App may show banner, interstitial, and optional rewarded ads through Google AdMob. Google may collect device identifiers, coarse location, and interaction data to serve and measure ads.
You can limit tracking in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Buying Premium removes banner and interstitial ads. Rewarded ads stay optional if you want an extra hint.
In-app purchases
Premium (monthly or yearly) is processed by the Apple App Store under Apple’s Standard EULA. Apple may share purchase status with the App so we can unlock ad-free play and unlimited hints.
Children
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
