SizeDrop Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 10, 2026

Summary

SizeDrop is a macOS menu bar utility that resizes and compresses local image files. SizeDrop does not collect personal data, does not require an account, and does not upload your photos.

Data collection

SizeDrop does not collect, sell, rent, share, or transmit personal data. The app does not include analytics, advertising tracking, or cloud synchronization. There are no SizeDrop servers that receive your images.

Local processing

Images you choose or drop into SizeDrop are processed on your Mac. Output files are written next to the original when possible, or to your Downloads folder if sandbox permissions require a fallback. Originals are never overwritten.

Purchases

Optional unlock uses Apple In-App Purchase. Purchase status is handled by Apple. SizeDrop stores only a local unlock flag and free-use counter on your Mac.
